Seaford Xmas Magic lantern workshops and parade 2017

I have designed and facilitated workshops for all ages and abilities in a range of media: stopframe animation, collage, photography, printing, paper-making, prop-making to name just some. I have worked mainly, but not solely, with children and young people including those who are feeling challenged, isolated or particularly at risk.

Organisations I have worked for include Culture Shift, Miss Represented (a Brighton Dome and Festival project), Towner Gallery, Seaford Town Council, Seaford Musical Youth Theatre, Chyngton School, Driving Inspiration, The Keep East Sussex.

This video was commissioned by Towner Gallery for their Pathways project. I taught stopframe animation skills to young people in the Pathways group as they explored the concept of Line. Other professionals worked with the group to navigate lines in the room using parkour techniques, and to write and compose the song accompanying the video. The video was exhibited as part of the East Sussex Schools Open exhibition. All exhibits explored Line and were presented in monochrome.
