When rain and mud left the forest inaccessible, forest bathing had to take a different form. Through exploration of photos, maps, science and research, a virtual communing with the forest took place. Geological data showed rich seams of wild clay beneath the forest floor. Sourcing it from the edge of the forest offered a tactile sensory way to access the forest from home.
