These curtains are made from a satin fabric and as a result the colours are rich and glossy. From a distance the pattern appears to be vertical stripes of green alternating with dark blue diamonds on brown. On closer inspection, we can see the pattern is made from the repeating and mirroring of a digital photograph. This photograph shows items on a wooden table. In the background we see a grassy lawn. A metal fork has been left on the table, its prongs resting on a china ramekin covered in congealed tomato sauce. In the foreground and obscuring the handle of the fork, lies an empty, crumpled Time Out wrapper. I wonder how long these have been sitting here?
